  1. well the tuner says it is very very flat yet it still sounds in tune to the backing tracks i use, i found when i am pulling the bar back up i gotta sort of pull it into pitch. is this what you are supposed to do?
  2. to me the strings still sound in tune after i use the whammy, but the tuner says otherwise. i am using d'addario 9 guage strings, and everything is tight
  3. i don't know how old the guitar is, i got it used. and all the serial number checks ive found are only for usa jacksons. the locking nut is tight. i am pretty sure the screws holding the saddles are tight. what do they look like?
  4. i got my jackson set up, the floyd rose is parrallel to the body but still whenever i dive bomb or raise the bar up, the strings either go flar or sharp. it has been a week since i put on new strings and i have been playing on the strings a lot. the guitar also seems to go out of tune when i play without using the whammy bar. i would play, then check the tuner and the strings would all be either sharp or flat. i have no idea why. what could be the problem?
  5. i hope its just an action problem, i heard fret levelling can cost you hundreds.
  6. i like low action, it sucks that i have to raise it.
  7. i took jackson dkmg in to be set up., when i got it back, i got home and everything seemd fine till i bent at the 15th fret on the B and high E strings. when i do this the bend sometimes dies out or sometimes just sounds really really mettaliic sound. most of the time it dies out. it only happens at the 15th fret, and only on the B and high E strings. what is wrong?
  8. i have a Jackson DKMG and there are a few problems with it. first of all it seems that the licensed floyd rose is bending backwards and people have told me it needs to be parrallel to the body. how would i do this? also it seems that i cannot pull up on the floyd rose. i can divebomb but i cannot pull up. someone told me it is because i am missing a spring in the back of the guitar. . what could be the problem? i have 4 springs, but one of them is diagonal and hooking onto another hook then the one that is directly across from it like the other spings. so it is 3 verticle springs, and 1 diagonal spring. i don't know if that means i am missing one, or if that is good or bad. also some notes past the 12th fret do not ring, they just sound dead. and sometimes when i bend some notes past the 12th fret, the bend dies in half a second. however, it seems the action is very high for a jackson guitar. what could be the remedy for this?
