Hey guys... I'm just thinking of fun new things to try with my fender amp can.... I saw a while back somebody making small tube amps at the 15w range. I think the Amp can is rated at 30w but running at 15.... Would there be any way to resonably make a decent amp off of the current powering system the amp can uses? so that you could have a reasonably cool tube amp for the road? Or Just wishful thinking? I was just thinking it would be fun to try... I traded one of my good old practice amps to get this lil fender.. I'm not impressed with it at all, but I figured it'd be good for missions trype work. (no power available at convienent times) The thing is.... I think its sound is kinda blah... (just my own onpinion. Some people like it) God Bless, PP

I have a schematic that will do phase reversal, on/off and series/parallel in two switches per pickup. It's on a shredder style Steinberger so it also has an aditional switch for coiltapping (North/Hum/South) If anyone is actually interested, it amounts to the freedom of any combination of series and parallel with phase reversal and you dont need all pickups on. There are catches like any other system, but without coil tap, you do all this in 6 switches. 3 are On/On 3 are On/On/On I also modded the cuircuit for the black ice/strawberry distortion to use a on/on/on switch to give you the option of one diode/both/off. If anyone wants diagrams, let me know and I'll draw some up. God bless guys, PP

Wiring up three dpdt switches that are on-off-on or just on-on will work to replace the 6pdt switch. Already tried it before but messed up. This time it works. Also there's a rocker I found in an old parts bin (probably from a 70's guitar) that has a metal bracket with a rocker in it. The rocker holds a switch though.... so it's not going to be hard to make up a backing plate to hold the three switches in series and use one rocker switch to switch them all at once Sweet! Wish I'd seen it earlier! lol Well Be blessed guys, that problem's solved

I saw a schematic online somewhere... looked like it had a Vin and Vout as well as the normal in and out for the pot.... I'm thinking that it needs power to do its variable resistance thing?

Hey guys! Correct me if I'm wrong, I've not had the chance to check them out, but the Takamine Volume pots on the Graph-Ex Preamps are active pcb mounted pots. Someone told me that they're rated at 47k ohms. Is it possible to step them up? Is it possible to find passive Pots that sink flush? Is it possible...? Thanks, PP

I've contacted Takamine and they said they will not sell me replacement pots, and that they're PCB mount pots. I can deal with both physical and PCB mount Pots. Does anyone know where I can get these? And the ones on the tone-lok ibanez pedals are the same as what I am talking about.... pop-up from flush. thansk guys! PP

Hey guys, I just found another guitar with the same pots. I've not seen the ibanez one to know the pots... but I found one on every Talkamine that has the Graph-Ex pre amp EQ. So I'm looking for those!! Whoooohooo The search is on AGAIN! God Bless, PP

These pots sink in flush with the body, or pretty close to it; so that there's no knobs showing at all untill you press one to bring it up (so you can adjust it) I think that's as clear as I can make it... kind of like a now you see it, now you dont pot. hi guys! I was told about a old pot that used to pop up from flush when pressed so you could adjust it and then if you pressed it again, would hide flush. I'm looking for a few of these for my guitar, and not many shops know about them. I'm told they were used on Yamaha APX series guitars about 10 years ago. Does anyone know or remember these? Better yet, Does anyone know where I can find some? Thanks, PP
