  1. could you not run one of these magical devices on the paper? http://www.leevalley.com/en/wood/page.aspx?p=20192&cat=1,42500
  2. I was just planning a zebrano SG with a sapele core, semi hollow. This makes me want to make it even more now! Great score!
  3. I rather use a brass caul from stewmac, and just hammer them in with some titebond, and a normal hammer will do the trick.
  4. it doesn't matter too much if its off center. If its more then 2mm or w/e your string distance, i'd just slide the bridge over to accomadate. If you can, you can always fill the neck pocket with some veneer or something to bring it back to center.
  5. I'd go with #2, just because I like contrasting stripes in the body, making them look like a neck thru
  6. If you don't have enough clamps, atleast put a thick board under them all so the pressure is distrubuted evenly and you won't get any gaps.
  7. Wenge, no question about it! Love the marquetry work.
  8. I love the cleanliness of it all, its sexy! Is it any harder to make a 7 strin then a 6?
  9. I really like the idea of moving the drill table out of the way to do that kind of thing, tuners on scarf joints can be tricky without it!
