  1. As i stated at my first post i don't know the guy and thus i am no defender of his.Clearly he doesn't need one as he stated his opinion in an excellent way.I am not going to dwell on this anymore.I find it really hard to follow your logic but i have no ill intentions. Please , could you answer my question , what did you mean by that ? What do you mean exactly by that?
  2. Good for you.Stating an opininion is one thing bashing is another(stuff like : ju ju and newbs).Again i just call them as i see them. What do you mean exactly by that?
  3. I really can't understand why all the fuzz.Bob is simply stating a different way of making a guitar neck.I don't know the guy but he makes a fair point.I don't get why Prostheta and Wes are getting so 'jumpy' and disrespecting.People should challenge tradition in order to evolve their craft (as Fender,Les Paul, Steinberger ,Floyd Rose tand many more did in their time even if at times it came back to bit some of them). Also as i recall there is someone here who makes one piece builds, to my knowledge a big no no for 'traditional' luthiers. With respect to everyone from a zero experienced builder to be. P.S you do know that wheel is not the best way of transport.I believe there are some trains gliding on magnetic fields that are way faster from the traditional wheel trains
  4. Kinda late to the party i know.I think Teuffel installs the truss rod this way on his birdfish models. As for the glue line vs truss rod could somenone explain from what point of view it is not recommended. Is it beacause the glue line is harder/rgid thus the neck is less 'adjustable'?
  5. Your site is indeed a great read.I have been more or less on the same page about tonewoods but only in theory.Hope to start building soon . Hope you achieve your goal.
  6. I 've read or watched a vid about it and what i got was that in a two coil humbucker you actually get a mean value of your signal. That has the affect of cutting some higher frequences witch in turn give the sense of warmer sound.Hope that is rellevant.
  7. I know that Ola Strandberg (who is a member here) and Jaden Rose have installed TT frets.Maybe you could get some info from them? As for the licensing stuff i am really curious of the outcome.
  8. Seems like fun. There is this guy (researcher) who says the same thing give or take.I would like it more if even the neck was made from a toneless material. Also if somebody could it would be pretty nice to swap PU between a full mahogany les paul and a swamp ash / maple board just to see what happens .
  9. Isp Theta is supposedly a good SS amp. Also krank uses SS at least some of their amps and of course there is randall.Valves are just different.Better for the most guitar players. But if SS does the trick for you there is no reason to not prefer it.Although i wouldn't choose a SS amp if i needed great volume and headroom, they tend to make a hissing sound at higher volumes.
  10. There is a trailer in youtube of the artcam but the full course is about 300$ .Don't anything else about it so here is the link.
  11. If you are talking about playing i think some of those players/tutors might do the trick. Derryl Gabel Tom Quale Rick Graham Dave Weiner Those came to mind.Just check their youtube videos.
