    Hey guys, I have an alverez rd2-sc (acoustic electric cutaway) that i got for christmas. Overall I like the guitar, but have noticed just a few things that may need adjusting but dont know quite where to start. First off the high (pitch) E string seems to kindof "ping" rather than have a true clear ringing sound. This is especially true the higher up on the fretboard the string is played. Around the thirteenth fret is when this is most noticable. Something easy or should i take her in?

    im getting a new one for christmas...same price range its an acoustic electric....alverez rd20sc, black cutaway with sold sitka spruce top...mohagany back and sides, and a rosewood fretboard. really bright, good sounding guitar.

    and now it seems that also taborama and guitartabs.cc are no longer operating. between those and mx i dont have a clue where to look now...thats my main source of learning and improving...so what now? *edit - nevermind guitartabs.cc is working...they aren't based in the united states even it doesnt look like so the mpa probably doesnt have jurisdiction..
