  1. That second one was horrible! Cole, I think your looks pretty good:>) Actually, I do liek the relic ones! I had Nash make me a relic a few years ago. Anyone that does the bodies, care to share tips? I have a 3tone I have been wanting to beat up!
  2. Who the heck has time to play?!?!!?! Nah, it doesn't have to look aged. Just the body is oiled and darker whereas the neck looks too shiny and white, just wanted it to look like it's been played for a couple of years. I am gonna try to dirty it up in a week or so when string change time comes around. While, we are on the subject though, anyone know how to age an old strat body (that has a heavy finish)? Thanks for the input everyone, I appreciate all the help. S
  3. Used the pop can trick, worked like a charm! Thanks!
  4. Scott, good ideas! I just happen to smoke and drink coffee:>)
  5. Do you suggest organic, mud, or manure? Oops, just remebered I put a little boiled linseed on it as well.

  7. I need to shim a floyd nut a wee, very wee bit on the e/b side. What can use for a shim that I migth find laying around the house? paper?
  8. So, I will need to connect the center to an outside tip, and use another as ground? Or just use the cetner as my hot and ground one of the outsides? I think I am misunderstanding. Thanks for the help, tonight's th enight.
  9. I have the deep panel jack (DPJ1 on the moth site) which is different from any schematics I found. It has the prongs sticking way out at the end, but also a small point in the center, which is my hot?
  10. Getting ready to run the wiring, going with the old basic grounding, not star. So to clarify, All of my loose grounds go to volume knob, then a long wire from there to the tremelo claw. Correct? Thanks so much everyone!
  11. Thansk evryone, I used #4-1", they worked ok, not perfect, but ok.
