is their much difference between the 2 7/32 (2.21'' inch) and the 1/4? I mean does .04inch really show's up on a guitar? Because it seems kind wide and at nut it is 1.71 wich does make a kind of akward neck doesn't it? Or am I just crazy? My friend is building this custom guitar and got their neck and it is kinda winder at the 24 and smaller at the nut :S

He is asking this question tough since it is 25'' and he wanted 25 1/2 (he still bought it) but the head angle is at 11degree what are the maths for the bridge height now? I wouldve help but only thing I know is the bridge height of my guitar and angle of my guitar

it's not mostly about the fretboard but the neck thru. He has searched several forums but non shows the step to step all they do I take a picture and say Look at my new neck thru

oh I understand that of course... but the problem is that he want's a neckthru and he is scared of ruining his fretboard he bought the book Melvyn Hiscock Build your Own guitar but it doesnt show much about neckthru wich is the most important thing in his building since the rest is (fairly) simple.

I am completely lost so let's make a short review : I bought the book, then PTU7 offer's me a illegal copy (even If I have bought the book and even their it's illegal that is why it is called a Illegal Book Copy) and you can't buy book where you live? I don't know where either that is why i went to google.com then wrote the book name brought me to amazon.com bought it they delivier everywhere....even in argentina so anyway for the guitar update. I am currently looking for a place to buy alder wood anyone knows where in quebec/canada or a website that has cheap good quality alder wood? I would appreciate I called like home depot and all that stuff they can sell me bookshelf made out of alder but how useless it that? the book of melvyn will look better next to my guitars lol

Look into some Jacksons, Deans, ESP's, Ibanez, Schecter's. I wouldv'e gone 25.5'' personally but anyway.
