  1. agreed, I liked those alot as well but I hated the headstock......not sure what they were thinking there. Then in the early nineties, Jackson/Charvel made those "ST" models with just about the same headstock. People never learn.....
  2. Very nice looking stuff there Jon, you have a PM. Dave
  3. Merritt, thanks so much for the kind words and thanks also to those who pointed him to me. It's great to be able to help you guys out with the parts! Hotrock: funny you should ask, I'm actually going to be doing some flame maple wood rings in the very near future. What kind of wood and what kind of rings would you like ?? Please feel free to shoot me an email if you'd like. fretsonthenet@msn.com Dave

  8. Once again Craig, I'm truly impressed bro. The guitar work is beautiful also. And Brian, nice touch but that is the least of what Craig is........
  9. I'm sorry, it's the standard type that you would get from stew mac. Not the the "real" pearloid/celuloid material. Thanks! Dave->

  13. You're very welcome and yes, it's a piezo with a built in barcus berry preamp. My strings don't attach at the bridge either, they attach through brass ferrules I turned on the lathe in the back of the body, muck like a telecaster. Dave->
  14. Sounds like you're on the right track. That's basically what I did with mine as I made mine from flame maple with an ebony insert: Dave->
  15. You have a PM my friend...... Dave->
  16. Sorry I didn't get back to you in the allotted time you gave me. I apologize. Thanks anyway. Dave->
