    Actuall comic pages from "penthouse comixx" it's hard to get right but worth it, The wife is the artist and she's doing a sketch type strat body for me when she gets a chance , Should be cool Rob

    I'm gonna enter my rg7 custom, I know it'll get no votes coz the other works are fantastic, But hey It's all good fun And Specs : Universe Neck, Blaze Pickups and black hardware, Body binding is black/white/black 3 ply and veneered top is trans ceder stain, Back and sides are black to match and keep in line with the headstock, the middle s/coil i had to route free hand which is why it's a little differant to the standard ibanez s/coil shape The top is my 2nd ever and my first go at binding, I'm happy with it and it looks stunning in the flesh Good luck everyone Rob

    fret wave, the wavy frets (first 2) are for tuning/intonation issues with e and a chords etc ... Flo also has a vwh neck back on her and no fret wave installed Rob

    rg550 is probably the best base to use, Hell i've used a few 560's too, the one advantage with a 550 is it's already front routed Rob

    Kevan that's great news, I'll just buy one or two internationally, I know plenty of folks who would ship them for me I hope it's all going/gone smoothly, And as i said before, I think it's a great idea Rob

    everything cept money ;-) But thanks for the comments on both my wife and the guitar, i guess i am too late for this months compo, so next month (not that i'll win with such good builders on here) but what the hell if i get 1 vote i'll be happy heh I have an Eggle custom nearing completion,needs finishing, and my comicbook start with a vengance now, then another rg7 custom :-) Again thanks for your nice comments, Without them i doubt i would have the interest to do anything at all Rob

    Alex, the binding channel all round was cut with a knife, not ideal but my router went down, i adapted a sharp knife with a block to give me a uniform cut Rob

    i Know dude, I had to lift and relay it it was originally clamped for 4 days, but something went horribly wrong and it did'nt set (the glue) of course the glue being wet shrunk the veneer slightly hence the binding (thanks Jer) It my first veneer job gone wrong, typically on the only guitar i'm keeping I had thought of running some of the binding material down the center line, but it just looked "wrong" I'm hopefull,with a few more coats of laquer it'll dissapear a little bit.
