Hello everybody, I am new here and I would like to introduce my second build. I am not a professional builder, just a few years ago I felt the need to build an electric guitar from scratch and together with my father, who got hooked on woodworking after retiring, we built our first guitar. Since it was equipped with humbuckers, the following year I designed a guitar with single coils to complete the range!
The idea was to get something different from the usual stratocaster style, a guitar having its own personalità and great sounding expecially on clean tones. It took one year to my father and I during the weekend and at the end the Valdes 20-12 came to life. Valdes is our surname and 20-12 is my father’s birth date.
