  1. Can someone please post how you would go about routing a body for a floyd, that uses a standard trem mount. I need trem post measurements and such. For example, if I bought a fender body that had a standard trem mount, where would I drill for the posts? Or, if the body was not routed for a tremolo at all, what are the measurements for the placement of the rout and the posts? Thanks
  2. All GPO does is buy other manufacturer's parts at wholesale, and then sells them at better prices. I have dealt with them, and they seem to be honest to me, just a little slow on shipping.
  3. Yeah, they have great prices. All of their strat necks are manufactured by Mighty Mite, and are of high quality. I ordered one for $70 and got a heavily flamed maple neck. I didn't even ask for it. Good stuff! rock

  5. Does anyone have a how to for routing and installing a Floyd Rose locking nut to a standard neck? I have not seen this here. Thanks
  6. Jeezum Crow! I don't think I want to get into Dave's stuff right now. I was thinking I would cut out the body with a flat top, then use a finger planer to carve the horns and edges, hoping to get the carved effect. I have a body to practice on, what the hell, I guess I'll try it on that. Thanks Brian
  7. Yes, I saw your thread on the subject, and it didn't answer the question I was asking, not to be an "arse", and not trying to "dupe" a thread as you call it . I was looking along the lines of do-able carve tops for those of us not able to own a CNC machine. The topic of tools used to do it with just died. I was hoping someone may touch on the topic of finger planers or planers in general. Any ideas? Is there a router bit that can pull it off? Thanks, Scott
  8. Does anyone know of the tool used to create a carve top? Can it be done with a router instead? Just a prospect for the future. Thanks
  9. Thanks Brian ! I have several ESP custom refinishes going on right now and definitely appreciate your help. Scott
  10. BTW Brian, were your ESP decals going to be waterslide or transfers?
  11. Yeah, I have bought 3 ESP decals from him. They are okay but, he wants way too much for them. Hopefully someone can do them cheaper in more colors. Chrome sounds nice.
  12. Do you know where I can get either of these? Also, the anigre veneer I have is cut 1/50", is that too thin or is it okay to use on a guitar top? Thanks for all of your answers, they help immensely.
  13. What is the best glue to use to tack down veneer? I have a ton of beautiful 1/42" fiddleback Anigre coming and planning on topping an ESP. Thanks, Scott Hey Brian, how's the ESP logo coming? Did you get the photo I sent you with the measurements?
  14. Hi, was anyone able to duplicate the ESP headstock decal yet? Just curious...
  15. No, I don't care much for the material finish. It's different but,I was hoping to paint it. Thanks
  16. Can someone post an actual floyd rose tremolo jig if you have it.
  17. Does anyone know if a Wilkinson trem can be swapped to a Floyd Rose trem without redrilling the trem posts. Are the anchors spaced the same? Thanks
  18. I am looking for ESP headstock logos for a refinish. Does anyone have these? Thanks, Scott
  19. Hi, great forum first off! Secondly, I am new here and I am wondering if anyone could share with me how to do a faux snakeskin finish. Thanks so much!
