Hello Everyone! Just joined the forum! I was recently given an Ibanez Gio body to practice refinishing wood. So far I've tried using a heat gun and scraping (this worked for my snare drum), but the finish does not bubble or soften. Right now I'm letting the body sit in a layer of CitriStrip and will try to scrap after a few hours. Does anyone have any advice to quickly remove the finish? * I will post pictures of the body if the CitriStrip doesn't work. (Forgot to take pictures beforehand)
