mmm yeah, might not be a gibson but man is the thing nice! the heads been glued on, i put strings etc on it and its holding and stuff.. the hard part is the bridge. cant get my hands on it and only gibson/epiphone look to have them. its one of them beefy ones. using a icypole stick wedged in there at the moment :S

yeah i dunno, he picked it up in late 60's. and i think the neck was attempted to replace with one from a cheap $50 guitar using some random wood glue, could prolly get it off if i heat it up. but the neck feels alright i wanna keep it. i also saw a neck like that in about 4 bits in the garage lol.

well today, in my dads friends garage i found a gibson hummingbird (im pretty sure its real, he says it is and hes been playing guitar for ages think he picked it up in the early 70's 2nd hand..) the headstock has been broken and glued back on.. how could i fix this? anyway, pics! (taken with my w810i) they big so u can see it in detail of cracks etc.. after polished

squire tele STANDARD. make sure its not affinity or what ever. they are a str8 up good guitar for a learner. easy to play, and sounds good id also say the jagmaster is a nice one. if bit advanced go for the strat. just dont go lower then standard or ANYWHERE near those packs.. lol

well i want something new pretty good and cheap.. hard to find but maybe someone has something laying around.. i dont have much money im 16 from aussie. hope someone can help me.. my guitar is out of action for a while.. long while looking for cheap maybe tele but id rather a SG or Jagstang or LP. copys tho lol NO STRATS! lol i have a strat atm its a bit dead. id almost swear by that squire. its a good one. but im looking for something maybe half finished as id really like to finish it off. im planing sepending up to $170 (AUD) inc getting it up and going (using fairly cheap hardware) and ill slowly replace the cheap stuff with better. and if anyone likes doing some of it they can start a project and ill pay and finish it i plan on having this guitar all my life, maybe to give to my kid when im older also im aussie
