  1. Got the wiring all done up I did redo quite a bit of the solder overall. Just wish I had the time and money to setup the Floyd bridge. I then moved on to reworking my y2k CAE Squire Thank you very much for your reply @mistermikevI am very sorry it has taken me an entire month to reply I have been very busy working as Security at different events like hockey games and concerts. I don't remember if I am allowed to say where my posts are if they're on another forum so I will just say this look around and ye may find on 2 other forums my posts about the JEM and the Fender.
  2. PS. If you live in Seattle and wouldn't mind looking at my work or help in person that would also be appreciated. Up until now my luthier work has been basic repairs including moving electronics from one pick guard to another. and setting up my guitars. First build and first major work.
  3. I sadly didn't get to use my stocks because of the expense of coil tape. I decided it would be better to just upgrade to a better quality pickup set that I know will perform just as good if not better than the ones that came with the kit. My Problem is I don't want to "blow up" the new humbuckers or the electronics for that matter. I've set them up using the old leads and a combination of a diagram I found on a blog post. The top yellow wire and the second larger yellow with white and ground directly soldiered is the neck, the bottom along with the big red wire with white and ground is the Bridge. It's an HSH configuration, my Kit is a Jem kit so anyone with experience with Ibanez and wiring this would be appreciated. I don't have a "helping hands" so I'm not going to show my semi sloppy splicing I did unless it will help.
