  1. I redrew schematic and got rid of the transistor instead going with switch, which is meant to discharge cap (if i applied lets say 5vdc and wanted to go lower i would need to discharge it) and from what i read here it should work: https://www.murata.com/en-eu/support/faqs/capacitor/ceramiccapacitor/char/0005 R1 is there just to limit current, P1 is to change dc voltage to cap. I think it should work but if im wrong please correct me
  2. Basicy by applaying dc to capacitor you can lower its capacitance which would change cut off frequency.
  3. I was wondering if using dc bias cap to decrease capacitance for finer tone control would work. I drew up a quick schematic for ilustration.
  4. Im here today with my weird custom circuit that I plan to build, but first I wanted to hear some feedback. I'll happily anwser any questions.
  5. So first switch chooses between humbacker, single coil, split coil, and single coil with split coil. Second chooses between two reverse diodes (from what i heard its black ice circuit), clean, and since i have 3 way sitches on hand some caps and resistor. The last switch is for choosing tone pot, one is high pass filter and the other one is low pass filter and there is option for using both. And here is photo of me and my guitar
  6. Hey! sorry it took me so long but here i am. First I'd like to thank you so much for all info. I updated circuit and moved it into diylayout. So here is upataded version, I added full humbacker and rewired pickup selector. Also changed tone pots so now you can pick between low and high pass filter. The body of the guitar is somewhat finished so if you'll be interested i can upload pictures. And once again for all help.
  7. hehe also forgot about reparing another thing so here is new image
  8. I forgot to update the drawing but i added small cappacitor paralell to the diode
  9. So I'm designing a custom circuit for a guitar that me and my frinde will try to make. I know that its tottaly too complicated but i just wanna know if it could work or if not what specifficly is not gonna work. It isnt to well drawn either so I'll happily anwser any questions.
