  4. i just got this guitar off of my friend for two xbox cables. now i cant tell if he got the blunt end of the stick here or its a piece of crap. it looks pretty good, theres some places where the paint is chipped and theres a spot on the armrest where the person evidently tried to fill a crack and did not succeed. anyways, its an ibanez according to the logo on the headstock. ive looked all on the ibanez website and cant figure out what it is. it says on the neckplate that its made in korea and has the number 8912740 on it if that helps at all. i was just wondering if you guys could help me figure out what it is and if its any good. here is some pictures i took of it. i appologize for the poor quality but thats the only camera i have at the moment and sorry if i posted this in the wrong place, i couldnt figure out where it would go. thnx Zak

  6. im doing an essay for english comparing shecter guitars to other guitars. i was wondering if ne of you smarty pants' on here know where i could get wiring diagrams for shecter and maybe gibson. also other things that would help me, basically do a review for shecter. thanks Zak
  7. i was looking through the main site last night and i saw the js donnie replica. i really like the graphic on it, does anyone have any suggestions as to where i could get some decent pictures of it so i could attempt to replicate it? ive tried google and most of the pictures are just of the front, i need some of the back and sides and everything to be able to draw it out accurately. or, if anyone knows where i could get some like template for it or something(maybe not but it would be cool if they had these). any help is greatly appreciated. also, if the person who did that replica on the main site sees this, can you tell me how you did it? thnx in advance Zak
  8. ok i was at school today and one of the better guitarists that go there was playing his tele after school. he had a really small like practice/portable amp thing. ive seen these before and theyr pretty cheap, but i thought it would be cool to make one. anyone have any hints as to the best way of going about this?? thanks ~zak

  13. i have an idea for a nice vine inlay, but i dont feel like making a whole new neck for it or taking off frets of another one, so the only thing i can think of is buying a neck that is all set to go but just doesnt have frets so i can do the inlay and then put the frets on because im just that lazy if ne one could give me a hint to how i could go about doing this, i would greatly apreaciate it, if not just laugh at my laziness, either way will be fine Zak
  14. ok heres the deal, i just got a free strat off of one of a kid that i know. the only problem i have is that he completely destroyed it. he painted the nice white pickguard black ( WHILE IT WAS ON THE GUITAR!!) so needless to say theres paint everywhere, on the neck and the knbos and bridge and everything. he also painted in between the frets (just the ones with the inlay dots) and theres bid dents and scratched all over it. i just was wondering if someone could clue me in on a cheap and quick way to take all the paint off the body because i was thinking of making it a natural finish, and where could i get a cheap, but good pickgaurd to replace the other one. also i just wanted to point out THAT IM BACK IN ACTION! my first couple of posts were about refinishing my first guitar but i didnt know how much time i was going to have because this is my first year in highschool, but now im back and rearin to go. i bought all the wood and everything to start a though-neck guitar. i hope it turns out okay thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me THIS FORUM AWESOME!!!!!!! and BRIAN ROCK DUDE!!!!!!!\ ~Zak
