hi guys ive been writing alot of songs recently and i finally decided to buy a digital multitrack recorder. im thinking 8 tracks: 2 guitar,drum,bass keys,etc. i want something without effects if possible(if it lowers the price)because i have enough effects in my pedalboard...since i have no clue to whe it comes to recording, im asking you guys to tell me what i more or less need. im planning to spend 500$ to 1000$ canadian. tips, tricks suggestions? thanks!

i wanna buy a 12 string accoustic electric for playing around the campfire this summer, you know? but i also want it to be useful for other situations. does it feel the same if you only keep 6 strings on it? is it possible to do without adjusting truss rod? im looking at ovations! thanks alot!

thanks for posting up all of those songs CURTIS! its really cool listening some fellow project guitarists playing! keep it up! why dont we all do this? post up a song from time to time. what you think? ill try and figure something out.

A violin's strings are played with a bow which keeps the string vibrating. If you have ever heard pizzicato strings (where they pluck the strings) you would know that the string will not vibrate much at all. Also, violin strings are a bit larger I think. when you pluck a violin, it doenst vibrate much because the string is shorter. has nothing to do with a bow or not and keep in mind that a violin neck i waaaaay smaller and easier to learn all the "sweet spots".id like to try one myself

try finding a 2nd hand valvestate marshall amp i got one and i love it. i think its pretty similar to the avts, it has one tube in the preamp on dirty channel. dont forget the celestion! but out of those you chose id go with avt and flextone

ive seen the amount of guitar players go up drastically in the past 3 years. i started taking guitar lessons in 7th grade at school and there was like 5 people in the class.now 3-4 years later theres soooo many guitar players in the school.its something thats considered "cool" to do now.but the only thing is that noone actually puts enough energy into learning it it.thay all think theyre rockstars and just because they own a guitar the ladies will love them. all that to say, its not a thing of the past at all!

hi guys, right now im building a bass neck since my old one is broken. i want to install a non adjustable truss rod what do you think? and also id like to buy a bass neck blank, preferably something inexpensive like maple.any suggetsions where to look? thanks! T.D.

i dont see why they wouldnt... theyre waaay cheaper than regular stands i say go for it
