i think its ok but id stick to just learning it from time signatures

thats not true
slant cab is exactty the same thing as straight one,
slant cab just looks different and is meant to go on top of the straight cab to make a full stack
the shape of the wood is different thats it.

im thinking of buying this guitar.
http://www.music123.com/Ibanez-RG350DX-i90360.music
I really like how this guitar looks like but the pickups are crap to me...
so im thinking of putting in these gibson pickups in brigde and neck position
http://www.music123.com/Gibson-490T-Origin...er-i97479.music
I have an rg with powersound pickups and I love the sound
so i think an rg would sound soo amazing with this mod
has anyone ever tried something like this?
what do you think?
thanks a bunch guys!

i like my stripes alot

-
you should carve the body a bit like in the drawing
its cool
-
im planning to make a neck trough bass. but after seeing BASEYS photo forum i have one question.
when making a neck through, does the center of the body have to be 2 pieces like BASEY did?
cant it be just one long piece of wood forming the neck and going through the body
without any other pieces of wood on top or underneath it?
see this topic for baseys design if you dont know what i mean: http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.ph...topic=4373&st=0
thank you

so after all, did you get it?
-

you just gave me an idea what to do with my old toenail clippings!
-
you could round the edges of the fretboard with some sand paper just a little bit
for that vintage strat feel. but make sure you do it on a unfinished neck
-
i have a finished bass fretboard fretted and all that i want to use on the bas im about to make.
unfortunately i dont know what scale it is.
i need your help to find out what scale it is.(please)
it has 20 frets.
from nut to end of fretboard : about 60 cm
from nut to 1rst fret :about 4.7 cm
from nut to 2nd fret :about 9.3 cm
0-3 : 13.6 cm
0-4 : 18 cm
0-5 : 22 cm
0-6 : 25.6 cm
0-7 : 28.1 cm

for this type of bridge,
http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailp...lo_Bridges.html
do the strings go through the body and sit on mounting rings at the back of the guitar?
how do you install it?
-
i agree with you
the prices are ridiculous
im already paying 60$ to see dream theater and now they just announced metallca is coming to montreal.
theyre selling the tickets 4 months before the actual show! greedy bastards
the only band that isnt bad at ticket prices is iron maiden.
i went to see them last january and they were selling tickets for 49$ wherever you sit. it was first come first served.thats really low prices compared to metallica.
i dont like metallica that much anymore...
-
i eat guys like you for breakfast
-
i say if it plays decent and it looks good get it.
a hundred bucks isnt much for a guitar.
for the price you would pay for a copy you can get a cool looking guitar.
-
youre a lucky man
-
trust me its the bar chord!!!
i dont know how you find it innacurate...
-
use one finger to bar at the 4th fret and use another finger to play 5th fret.
bar chord!
-
thanks
Strings - what type do you use.
