yeah i'm trying to get em cheaper on here lol.

this is for a repair project i'm working on some onebefore me totaly butchered this guitar and now i need a fender style acustic nut. more then one wold be nice. pm or leave a message.

on the guitar i just stripped useing a gel stripper i first took an automatic sander and scuffed up all the clear coat/ laminate stuff over the paint. then applied the stripper with excess like where it was visibly more then u needed because the instructions on the can told me to do so. waited 15 min did a test wasn't long enuf waited another 15 came back and it came right off with only a few trobble spots.

i'm just donit it as a warm up for making my own bass and as a fun project to do if i really wanted to make a nice bass i would not start off with a rogue lol and the ply wood body dosnt' really look that bad.

hey this is the story of my rogue bass makeover. it started with my old beat rogue bass that isnt' good for much but learning on only cost me like 90 bucks a few years back. well sence then i have gotten a jazz bass and it's a nice bass i must say. so now onto what i have done to the rogue. i started with spending a few days after school stripping and sanding the old black paint with chemical paint stripper and a power sander. it was a pain but the chem paint stripper really helped. that is where i'm at now. i just bought a can of laqure from the true value today after school and am planing to put on the first coat tommrow after i make somthing to hang it up with in my garage(any suggestions?). i also have some pickguard makerial so i'm gonna put a custom pick guard on it and upgrade the volume knobs and polish up all the old hardware. a few months ago i got bored and pulled all the frets off of it so i'm gonna proubly put a new fretboard on it also and perhaps a jazz bass neck on it. i have an extra one laying around. this is all in prep for making my first own bass next year for my schools senior project and hopefully i can show off this project to help me get a summer job at the local guitar shop as an apprentis or somthing like that. pis soon
