  1. I tried to make a donation and it was adding an additional $5.60 for Shipping! What is up with that? Scott
  2. Thanks a lot!! Just what I was looking for! Scott
  3. Anyone have a set of plans or information on the Stew-mac neck Jig. Surely this has been talked about here, but I can't seem to dig up anything with the search function. I would like to build one and need to know the placement of the rods/Dial Gauges. I could probably guesstimate, but if some ones knows, that would be better. Links to any discussions would be great as well since the search functionreturns an error when searching "Neck Jig". Thanks, Scott
  4. Does anyone know if there exists an accurate set of plans for the Gibson EDS1275 (doubleneck)? I would like to make one as a future project. If you know of any, It would be much help! Thanks, Scott
  5. Could I spray Nitro over thier Spectra FX? The Spectra FX is in the Killer Kanz, so I am not sure what it is in (laquer ,urethane, etc).
  6. Has any one used Alsa's Speed Clear? (Catalyzed PolyUrethane) I will be doing a strat with thier Spectra FX and they reccomend to use thier Speed Clear. I will be using the Killer Kanz. Also, they recommended that I would only need one can of clear, is that going to be enough? I thought I heard that the Poly Urethane goes on heavier than laquers, but don't remember where I saw that. Thanks, Scott
  7. Just a question for all you floyd users. I am building a Strat with a floyd and need to know if my math adds up correctly for Bridge placement. Stew-Mac says that the center point of the studs should be 25" from the nut. If the nut to the end of the neck is the standard (warmoth) 18 7/16" then the distance from the end of the neck pocket (furthest point into the guitar towards the bridge) to the center of the bridge studs should be 6 9/16". I know the math adds up, but what is everyones experience on this placement. Does it jive? If you buy a body from Warmoth or another builder, is this where they place the studs?Sorry if this has been covered, but I couldn't find anything by searching. Thanks, Scott
  8. I have one here that is sitting around and it is flat, the nut slot that is. Scott
