  3. Will this be the final clear/sealer to the finsh or do you ned to buy and apply clear coat as well? and can this be used on rest of the guitar that I have painted? Thank!! Joe
  4. Good morning, I have successfully laid the cotton textured material on top of the guitar. I used titebond glue and I spread very evenly and luckly there were no bleed throughs or wrinkles. So now I am at the stage were I need to buy sanding sealer??? Now I am getting very confused about what to purchase because I want to mak sure the sealer does not adversly affect the material that is glued down...What should I buy? Thanks for any help!! Joe M
  5. Thanks for answering, I was wondering though...Can I use a spray clear and which can I use, also what sealer did you use when you brushed? Thanks! Joe
  6. Hi everyone, I read Brians awsome tutorial on how to use material tops, now I am very confident in doing this because I worked in automotive custom interiors in which we wrapped everything in leather. The question I have is, do you brush the sandable clear right over the fabric and underneath the edges? Also is there clear suitable for the neck itself? I have painted the neck (it's neck through body and makes it tough) and has no clear on it yet. Thanks for all your help!! Joe M
  7. Hey, I know for a fact the material used was 100% cotton because I went to my local Jo-Anns fabric store and that had in the animal section of fabrics. I am currently working on a custom ESP I had buit for me that has a scalloped neck.. I will post pics once it's compleated.
