  5. Here are some pictures of the woods I'm going to use. Here is the neck blank, I'm going to use a local wood called PAU-MARFIM (Balfourodendron riedelianum) or IVORY-WOOD in English, it's very similar to Maple, but a little harder: Here is the fretboard, it's a piece of Jacarandá-da-Bahia (Dalbergia Nigra) or Brazillian Rosewood, it's a very hard-to-find wood, even here: Following as the Body Blank, it is called Marupá (Simarouba versicolor): For the top I'm going to use a vener of Flamed Goiabão (Pouteria pachycarpa). But I don't have the picture now. This week I'll try to post pictures of my work. I hope you enjoy it.

  9. Hello Friends, Some months ago, someone asked in the forum for a BC Rich Stealth Plan. I found it in an old japanese magazine called "The Rock Guitar Super Manual". I scanned the plans and put it in my web site, the url is: http://helliumguitars.vilabol.uol.com.br/ As I said before, I don't know if the plans are acurate, but I think these are a great source for the outlines of the body. I hope you enjoy it. Helio

  12. Setch, firstly I would like to congratulate you for the execellent work. I would like to ask you about this "pickup angle", did you calculate it? or it is a free angle between the end of the fingerboard and the bridge? thanks a lot Hélio
  13. hello I use red cedar, marupá and mahogany (mogno) for the bodies, but I think that these woods are not avaible in the north hemisphere. Here whe have other species of woods to work with, for example, as maple are very hard to find here, the guitar necks here in Brazil are made of Pau-Marfim (Ivory Wood) or Mahogany. Hellium
