  1. There was some sort of tutorial guitar with LED's for every note on every fret. I think it was endorsed by Neal Schon or something like that. It had a dial on the pickguard with all the scales, you dial it in and only the "right" notes would light up, so it can be done TO THE MAX!! cgtrox
  2. Less, and it also goes back without routing behind your trem! I love 'em and wish they were back in the mainstream! I love Eddie, but he was one of the main reasons Floyds are so big now. I wish the Floyds took the route of the Kramers!! cgtrox
  3. Hey guys, have you checked out eBay?? I bought three tremolos there, two Kahlers and a Washburn Wonderbar. I paid $120 for a Kahler Pro, $117 for the Washburn and $75 for another Kahler Pro that I actually have installed on my ESP Mirage Custom from the 80's which I also got off of eBay for $399 in excellent condition! All three trems were in excellent condition, I hate Floyds, always have, and don't see why they have lasted so long! I think Kahlers are smoother, do the same thing or more without the springs and are alot easier to change strings on. I don't solder my strings and haven't had any probs to speak of . I was using Washburns at first, just for ease of installation on guitars that I build, but since I discovered a plethora of Kahlers at eBay, that's where I go now for an old favorite that was lost long ago! Happy Hunting!! cgtrox
  4. I was gonna suggest the 81/85 combo too but I forgot you had a maple body which will make the 81 sound kinda twangy. I'm still kinda leaning toward the Duncan JB, it's got alot of body to it, and if you already have it?? cgtrox
  5. I think the Gibson Les Paul Customs come like that from the factory. cgtrox
  6. Hello everyone, This is my first post here and I have been looking for a forum such as this, this is great! I do all my own setups and build my own guitars, etc. I am in the middle of sanding an early 90's ESP Mirage Custom w/neck thru getting it ready to paint and I need to install a Kahler Flyer tremolo. I have been searching for a template for this to no avail. I can make one, but I was just going to see if anyone out there had one? It would be alot easier.....thanks for all your help! cgtrox
