  1. So, someone has asked elsewhere for some refinishing advice, and got some conflicting advice. I thought id run it off some people who actually have experience in this field: The guy wants to refinish his black guitar in a white colour. Which would you guys suggest - 1) 'Scuffing-up' the laquer on the black guitar, and just spraying white over it, or 2) Sanding all the way down to the bare wood, grain-filling, primer etc. and THEN doing the respray. Any opinions would be welcome
  2. Hi, Im about to embark on a custom guitar finish and was looking for advice. Basically i will need to paint a Jem style body with a green/yellow burst. The body will be purchased from a luthier and will have no primer. If possible, all work will be done using spray cans. Could somebody provide me with a brief step by step list of what needs to be done (i will research the steps myself, i just need a list of steps ie do i paint it yellow first and apply the green after etc..) Thanks
