  1. I have an epiphone neck. At least it looks like one, I got it on ebay awhile back and never used it.
  2. You said it was a basement, so is it completely underground? If so that should help alot.
  3. I havent tried the cove bit but just thinking about the tearout story made me think that it would be a better idea to drill a hole first so that the cove bit has less wood to get hung up on. Just a theory.
  4. Point me to the 12 Tele's for a dime. I will take several dozen please.
  5. Looking good. I would rethink the neck angle issue. The top is angled because of the carve so if the neck is not angled the action is gonna be really high at the body end of the neck.
  6. Ha!! I thought you moved when I first started reading this because its hot right now in S.A.
  7. Thats why I sit back and listen, I dont want to spread my opinion on something that I havent done but seems logical when you think about it . Until you you try it and see if it works or fails you really dont know. I appreciate all the knowledge shared from the more experienced builders here, that is what got my first build done, well almost done just need to wetsand and polish.
  8. Ha!!! I was thinking the same thing. One morning the park is mysteriously missing a tree.

  10. At first I was thinking that singer needs to work on his stage presence, walking back and forth with one hand in his pocket wasnt cutting it. Then he started singing and stage presence was the least of his problems. Ha!!!!!!
  11. I really like that burst on the carve, very nice.
  12. Yeah he does care for Don too much, he made a funny comment. Someone asked if Dokken would ever do a reunion tour. He said "you know the only reason bands do that is because there is a need for it(money) and there really isnt a need for it." he then said " Im doing alright, Jeff and Mick are doing good and I guess Don is doing ok with his Dokken cover band"...ouch.
  13. he said it got those cracks because a friend painted it for him and they wrapped it in a blanket and went on tour to play in Iceland. So the cold weather on fresh paint did it. He also said ESP was trying to recreate the finish.
  14. He was wearing that same hat here in San Antonio, and still playing that same tiger. He said he just replaces the neck but that is the original body.
  15. He had to quit selling the 5150 book but it is still in the main book.
