    Those little bits break pretty easy, I need to order some more for back ups. I did the same thing when my smallest one broke and had to use the next size.

    I am so confused......... A guy named drummerdude doesnt play drums. But instead asks questions about modding guitars but is too cheap and lazy to do it properly and would rather turn a guitar that is fine the way it is into a peice of crap. I dont get it.

    If the fretboard has been oiled then the paint probably wont stick.

    Yeah at work a long time ago we were getting fitted for respirators and they brought a can of shaving cream and bag of disposable razors.

    Sorry about that I didnt realize they had tone and volume on them. I dont read knobs I just know which one is which on my guitars. If I had to look down and read my knobs after playing for 20 years it would be time to quit playing. Guess I better edit my post so no one follows my bad info.

    Did a google and the first one on the list was Allparts Allparts White knob w/black numbers

    doesnt wood glue not stick well to wood glue. maybe you didnt sand or plane enough before gluing the old wings on to the new wood.

    The problem with the cutting wheel is that it heats up the metal and discolors it. I tried it for cutting the tang back and then I went ahead and bought the fret tang nippers.
