    Why not gold ? Cause gold and blue would make it UofM colors, and I'm an MSU fan awesome that they're in the final four too

    A decent color? That's ugly as hell (no offense John). It needs a super bright orange and a royal blue neck or a similar blue, that would be awesome.

    The Gotoh Floyd Rose nut I bought for my build came with the ability to use either option.

    Romen does not build these...he has people with talent that do it for him. neither does Leo Fender, Paul Reed Smith or Les Paul.... Both Leo and Paul started out building them on their own, I don't believe Ed ever built one. And Les is a player that Gibson built a model for/after, there was never any suggestion that he did build.

    Don't sell yourself short....Pantyhose and a wig,plus an investment in a good razor and some posing lessons should do the trick... Check with Avenger...I think he has all of that handy. You may like that sort of thing Wes, but not me....hehe That looks awesome man, I really like it

    Take a look at one of the pinned threads that has trem route sizes, including a link to the floyd rose site. That'll tell you if you have enough room one. The big thing you want to pay attention too (besides if the route will fit right) is where the posts go in relation to the nut. If that works out and it probably will, you're good to go.

    I agree that you shouldn't trade it in. Especially if you really like the tone of it. As far as a line 6. My friend and the other guitarist in his band both use line 6 amps and they both seem to really like them. They play thrash metal and similar, but I haven't heard of any problems with them.

    That's lookin' cool John. I guess now that you have the extra string ferrules (or will when you order the extra set) you might as well use them by making some guitars with extra strings

    When I tried to click the angelfire site it wouldn't even come up for me, but my computer tends to automatically block sites that have problems like wes was sayin'. As far as the demo, it sounded fine and everything, but I was kinda hopin' to hear of some of the features of the guitar and why it's so good.

    Link works fine for me. Looks like nice stuff too, not much in the way of a website though. I gotta agree though, submit to paypal asap, 9 days is way too long.

    That's lookin' awesome man. I really like how far you stretched the shape there. So, that jack doesn't get in the way at all there? I was thinkin' of trying something like that, but I'm afraid that it'll be way in the way.

    Nope, just means that you haven't asked any questions and no one's picked anything astoundingly good or bad out of the build.

    I'll be using a pre-fab neck. It's on it's way right now. Assuming I'm able to get one built (which shouldn't be too hard seeing as we have the extended period) I'll be using a neck I parted off an old washburn.

    That looks fine to me Wez. I think that as long as it appears to be the same shape (since I don't believe any of us have an actual template of it) anything else we do to it would be fine. A little extension here or there should be fine, as long as it's within the original spirit, so no horns I would think. I'm thinkin' of goin' with the Warvus idea and doin' some fun painting.

    Man, this is sounding like something I could try for fun. I may have to give this a go since I do have an ibanez neck from a guitar I scrapped (the body was previously hacked up really bad). I don't really have anything for the body, but I'm sure I could get some pine or poplar or something to mess with.....hmmmm..... I guess I'll be in tentatively.

    Yeah, I agree with Wes. I think there should be a longer time limit (for instance in the beginning of april I have a big class and will be gone for like 10 days, plus work and whatnot). I also think that the rules should just be make it look like a corvus. Personally I think it would look weird with too many electronics, but I don't think it should be prohibited in the rules.
