How do the knobs on an epihphone sg come off? Do you just pull? My tone pot is loose and i have to take the knob off to tighten it but its very stuborn, scared i might break something (maybe i will be happy if that happens after all the trouble this guitar is giving me) Tx

When i fret any higher than my 20th fret on my cheap epiphone sg special it makes that thump noise and has a weird vibraty sound too. Tune o matic bridge im assuming is the problem coz it still makes the noise when not plugged in so its the string not the pickup. Anyone know how to fix this? I fiddled around before coz it used to do this on two strings both after the 15th fret. Erk Tank-ee
