  1. I wired my guitar just like the EMG website has for wiring 2 active pickups and a 3 position lever switch. The volume knob does not work and but it sounds good I just do not have any volume to control. Any help would be greatly appreciated. this is the diagram I used http://www.emginc.com/downloads/wiringdiag...kers_active.pdf
  2. Why is it so hard to find a wiring diagram for 1 tone and 1 volume and 3way blade switch by ESP, for 2 active pickups? I have not found a wiring diagram my set up or should I abandon my set up? Any help would be greatly appreciated i have not found any web sites that have my set up. I have guitar heads pick ups and they have three wires 1 for the battery and two wires for the switches I guess. This is my first time wiring a guitar. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Leonard
  3. Can anyone give me a wiring diagram for wiring guitar heads humbuckers and a 3 position switch on an ESP M - 10 guitar? I forgot to add that it has 1 volume and 1 tone. thanks Leonard
  4. This is a dumb question but are the ferrules where the strings go thru the body? And it look like these are glued in on both sides and I do not know how to take them out without breaking them. Will heat lossen these up?
  5. Can I get great sound with non active emg pickups or should I go with active pickups? Also, if I use active pickups I have a two knob guitar and a three way switch will I have to use another knob or can use the two knobs I already have? I understand I will have to use the knobs that go with the pickups.
  6. What is the best way to cover the holes without taking the metal pieces off of the guitar? It is a string through design and the only metal pieces are where the strings go through the body and where the bridge mounts on the body? Or should I take them off and if so, what is the best way? Thanks this is my first stab at painting guitar. Also, what is the best chemical paint stripper to use?
