i don't see a point in having a radius at all, for myself anyways. it seems the flatter the fretboard the easier it is to play. i mean, i wouldn't worry about fretting out notes when bending, thus letting me have lower action, and it just feels better. i have never played a flat fretboard on an electric though, only on acoustic. but i figure it'll be something i'll like. thanks a ton for the help!

how hard would it be to flatten the radius of a fretboard? i'd assume i'd remove the frets, sand it flat, and put new frets on, but is that easy or should i not try it? has anyone tried this?
