thankyou all for your help and input, i would try that matthews place but its a 4 hour trip because i am 1 and a half hours away from melbourne in the opposite direction, mahogany nech with an alder body was what i was gonna go for, i have a floyd rose trem sitting here so thats all good, i would still rather it be a bolt on than a nexk thru seeing as its my first build and...i really dont know how nor do i really like them, tho i will think about the idea if i cant get the right wood or something, once again thankyou

hi, i saw this guitar and it has a REALLY kewl design on it i think it was flamed maple, like the sunburst, how do u do it, i thought u stain it and it soaks up more stain in some areas than others and looks sunburst, is that right???

hey, probably a stupid questions(like the rest of mine) but where should i place the bridge humbucker so that i can get alot of harmonics i heard something about it should be at the 48th fret position or something and does the bridge your using change anything, im planning on putting a floyd rose in if that helps, thanks

where would i find the info on thei boggs dude, is it on this forum or on the net??? and i like the idea about the wet sanding might try it if i get my hands on some perspex or acrylic

recently i watched a metallica dvd(i think it was s&m) and kirk hammett was playing a hollow acrylic les paul that was filled with blue water! after seeing this i obviously wanna make one but the only thing is i thought you could no longer see through perspex and acrylic and stuff after its been cut because you damage the film and it turns white, i was wondering if there is any way to avoid this, so you could say have 2 peices of perspex hollow them out for the water and cavities and such and glue them together and fill them with water through say a removable plate or plug.

hi, i have aquired some dwg files and have autoCAD 2007 they are all 1:1 but whenever i try to print them so the come out at 1:1 on multiple pages i only get the bottom left corner and then it stops printing, i need to know how to get the rest of the pages rather than just one part at 1:1 help appreciated thanks in advance pandimebag9876

Hi, this is my first post so hello Probably the most noob question about pickups ever, but i don't care my question is, say i just wound my own pickups, how do i attach the wires that connect to my 5 way selector and what not, do u just use the wire u used to wind the pickups wih or do u solder a new wire onto the end of it or what, i have no clue, please help yes, already i know i'm a dumbass. thanks in advance
