All right people, Thanks to all who have answered my past questions, and here goes another....... Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top, DUH) has been playing a very cool Gretsch guitar as of late, and research shows it is a 1959 Gretsch Bo Diddley model, that Gretsch custom made for Bo in '59, and gave to Billy aprox 20 years ago. Can anyone help with finding info on this particular model, all I can find is pictures of it and I need hard data. Any help will be greatly appreciated. can you paint over the pickups on your guitar, (i.e. kirk hammets "mummy" guitar) and still have thenm function properly? Thanks

Anyone out there know how the Custom shops reproduce the "aged/worn" look on their guitars, both the neck and the body. Thanks for any info.

Can anyone tell me how to re-create the paint on the Gibson voodoo Guitars? I know its is an ebony paint, but what kind?, then its rubbed with a red filler. Is that the only color rub there is? Any help would be appreciated.
