I have been trying to test a swirl finish. I am using Benjamin Moore Enamel Oil paint. I have read the tutorial and topics, but for some reason when I dip wood in there it comes out all blotched together. I know I used the right amount of borax because when i dropped a little back paint in there it spread out and looked just like the picture in the tutorial. I am building a jem replica and I want to put in similar inlay to the guitar on Passion and Warfare. I looked at the 3-d inlay tutorial and it mentioned vinyl decals. Is it possible to make your own vinyl decals? Or do they have to be custom ordered. or is there another way to do the same inlay?
