Well, My Ibanez Jem project is coming along and all planned out. I have decided on trying to do a Swirl paint job, as they look so unique. So far I have everything I need to test with:
Cut and primed 2x4's for test dips:

Enamel Oil Based Paints ( Red, Green, Pink/Maroon, Black, and still waiting on Yellow)

Reeve's Oil Paints (many colors)

And of course some Borax and a bucket to test dip the 2x4's

Depending on how thick the enamel oil paint is, I will use paint thinner (mineral spirits). I will be clear coating with poly urethane. First I will be test dipping the 2x4's (about 8 of them). Next I will move onto a crappy Mark II strat body (not even the size of a strat ). Next, I will move onto a Ibanez Rg-ish body, and finally dip my Jem Body. I will of course post pics along the way, and if anyone has any advice, that would be great!
