  1. OH! Sorry! I'll be sure not to use them anymore. Where do you folks host your pictures?
  2. This guitar is still for sale for $150. I'll sell the neck separately for 90 dollars. -Gary
  3. 90 for the neck + shipping... and just so there's no confusion - it's a lefty! I'm waiting to hear back from Sabu2k1 about a trade though so I have to be up front about that. I've also got a 24 fret lefty neck from a Raven (rosewood fretboard, black headstock), never played, similar to the Wizard II in shape and feel. Just wanted to mention that. Bought it for a project but never used it.
  4. I'm so sorry for that last post sounding confusing!! To reiterate: Body and neck are for sale! No hardware on the neck though! Trades? Honestly, the only thing I need right now is a 1x12 cabinet. I'm trying to get my father (who's pretty handy) to build me that AX84 1x12 cabinet. That's the only thing I need right now. And I just bought an RG1570L from Rich Harris (amazing guitar but very expensive for me), I've got a custom 7 string JEM knock off being painted by Herc Fede, my old RG550L and a Samick LP copy... No more axes for me!!! Too many mouths to feed already!! I'd take 150 bucks for that RG470L. Honestly. I really don't want it to sit in my house for the next 20 years... -Gary
  5. Pics will be up tomorrow. I honestly forgot about it since I never got any replies... :-)
  6. Hi all, I've got a black 1999 Ibanez RG470L that is missing a lot of parts but needs a home. I'll post pics if I get a response on this post but here's the rundown: Body - AANJ, routed for Lo-TRS trem, not an Edge trem. Apparently you can fit a OFR in there. There are lotsa' dings in the paint but no chunks are missing or anything. No electronics or trem installed. The trem is beat up pretty bad but I'll throw it in if you want it. Neck - AANJ Wizard II drilled for locking nut. Two light scratches on the back of the neck, but no warping and no cracks. One small nick in the paint on the headstock. No string tee, tuners, trem cover or locking nut included. I needed them to resurrect my old '92 RG550L. Honestly this neck was played 10 times. Well, if anyone is interested please let me know! I'm willing to sell the neck separately from the body of course. Make me an offer....
  7. Does the epoxy get applied from the inside of the pocket or from the outside? Is there already a tutorial on this since it's apparently so common?
  8. Thanks for the reply - how would I put epoxy into the crack? It's such a thin crack, I wouldn't want to widen it would I?
  9. Hi all, I have an RG550L body with a crack at the neck pocket - I can post a pic if needed but it's like the one called common neck joint surface crack. http://www.jemsite.com/jem/neckjoint.htm I was about to have this body painted but I wasn't sure if the crack needs to be repaired for the neck to be stable. The crack goes all the way through. The wood is very thin there. Thanks, Gary
