what differnce would it make yould it sound really crap?

i was wondering about building a guitar out of weird parts such as metaled down plastic bottles or drinks cans or sticking loads of plastic packaging stuck together to name a few i was wondering do these have any acoustics propertys at all

don't old strat pickguards go mint coloured has anybody managed to do that

what about the pickups? and Drak what do you mean about tolling if you meaning buying the tools then i should have all of those we've tons of wood working tools at how and i can use my dad's schools workshop with some small CNC machines

you can get schematics off websites i have no idea if you can build amps off them but there are tons from classic fenders to modern mesa boogies

i wanna build a tele style guitar i don't know which wood for the body i'm gonna paint i probably unless it's a really nice piece of wood for the next i would have a maple next with probably a maple fingerboard but i'm thinking of making my own pick ups it's my first guitar and i'm only learning i've got a squire strat which i'm sharing and i want my own. Am i being too ambitious my dad's a tech teacher so there is no problem with skill. Also what would be an average price for guitar like this sorry if this has been asked before and your getting sick of them. Sorry.
