  1. hi, i may be stupid.. when you say 'sanding the mirror?' what do you mean, i thoun the mirror was covered and you jsut peel of when done? also what do you do round the edges, just wet/smooth sand or do you do some binding? Cheers in advance for all the questions
  2. Hi, im pretty new round her but after finsihing my first spray/mod job i feel like pushing a little more. i dont think it will be hard just need some advice. basically i want a guitar with a mirror finish similar to the manson (i know, dont start), ive been reading what hedge did and think what he's done is fanstastic. I dont think i have the skill to start cutting boddies but I do have a tele that i havent used for a while which is fllat top. what i would like to think is possible is that i can strip the top of the tele back, cut the lower horn to give more reach to the higher frets and attach the 3mm acrlyic mirror on top. As its flat top the sides wont need bendng. so wondering if i can just smooth with wet dry the sides or do i need to do something else round the sides? what im concerned about it the by adding the 3mm acrylic will i need to raise the neck at the body end and can i simply place a 3mm block underneath? am i being realistic in any way or just stupid? Cheers for any advice
  3. Hi, newbie here looking for a bit of help, hope you don't mind me barging in on the forum. anyway was looking at the guides on the projectguitar forum and saw the holoflash finish. Was just looking into weather it was possible to use the holographic paper as a finsih and not the the sttages after? I have a pacifica, so heres what i would like to know. 1: can it be done? 2: if it can, after aplying the paper what do i use to seal it/finish it? 3: how would i go about shapping round the edges, i know theryl be a line round the back where the paper meets, dont mind that just dont want it where people will see it. Cheers in advance for any help.
