  1. Hello everyone! I'm new to working on guitars and I've done a bit of research on this and haven't found any solid information. I picked up a Chibson because I liked the look of the guitar but thought I could easily swap out the pups after watching a tutorial or two. The problem I'm running into is that the guitar doesn't have any back plates and the tutorials I've watched required access to the volume/tone pots. I could be missing something simple here but could someone please explain how I'd go about swapping the pups on this guitar? Thanks in advance!
  2. So looking in the darker corners of the internet I've found quite a lot of really cool looking Chinese copies of guitars, for dirt cheap prices (less than €100). Now I automatically assume that they probably sound like dirt, but I've got to wonder that if you replaced the electronics and hardware, how would they hold up? Some sellers have great feedback with people claiming that the guitars were even playable when they were delivered. For less than €100 delivered to the door with some really cool custom finishes, even if all you end up with was a usable body with everything else getting thro
