  10. Here are some shots of a recent build. It was a wedding present from the bride to the groom. I was able pull off a bunch nice tricks on this guitar while still trying to keep it classy and personalized. The back plate was a letter from the bride. She told me he was in tears when she presented it to him. I hope to go to a wedding someday and see this guitar on stage with the band. The body was CNC's. This was my first venture into that world. I mainly wanted to make sure the logo was cut right. And for having the body cut quickly it still took a ton of work to get it to the finished product
  11. I've had this one bubbling under the surface for a few months and I've decided to hash it in with my degree study's CNC module. The design spec is a slab-bodied (no tummy cut, no forearm contour) P bass more or less in line with the design of a '51 P bass. Unlike '51 P basses this one is a 5-string with specific modernisations, however the visual presentation is to be as clean and '51 P bass-ish as possible.     Aptly dubbed "the Green Monster" by RestorationAD! This CNC is very old but very capable regardless. As of writing, the vacuum table is weak due to the pump being fairly well broken. By the time this project progresses it should be replaced or fixed, however if it isn't I guess I'll need to concoct some "clever" workholding.
