these aren;t that bad I prefer Screamin Deamons. I like the G lynch sound. I never put them in the LP cause the pups were not that bad. The neck pickup is really fat and heavy. has a G N R type feel and in the clean channel there is almost no hum. I have 3 effects DD-2, DOD chourus and a Whah. Another happy footrest buyer!

The black Fender was only made for one year. I was lucky to get it. The yellow one all the parts are fender except the body. That is a BC Rich model I can;t recall. The black Fender has better tone than the les Paul and the P90's really kick through my Marshal

Ok that Rocks! how heavy is it. Here are my top 3 guitars....I feel to old (39) to say Axe the yellow one I built from BC rich and Fender parts a few years back. Kahler Tems are the best. Even with my new floyds still go out of tune....My kahler nevers does I can jam for hours and still be tuned. the fine tuners are way better than a floyd as well.

Nice, I like Jacksons. My top 2 guitars are a 2004 Gibson Les Paul stadard cherry sunburst and a Fender 'Robin Ford' Elite with a Khaler tremlo.. I bought this guitar new when I was 15 and had it ever since. It is one of may favs.

What kind of Vee do you have? I really like the new Gibson V's

Well I take back my words.....I have done finger exercisers while watching TV. If you put the crotch of the vee on/in your Right leg and use a footrest to raise your left leg you can actually play a vee very comfortable. One of my instructors when I was a teen had a Jackson V (it was nice to.) he showed me that trick at the time I had a Charvel Star body style and I could never play sitting down until he showed me the trick.

I mixed some epoxy and masked off each side of the crack and 4 hours later I was jamming again thanks!

I totally disagree and find the TV comment a little insulting, but take it ok I guess. I studied formally classical and Jazz and Rock. I am 6'2 and need the right posture to play while sitting. I will only sit while practicing; using one of my les pauls or other heavy guitar. Most (not all) guitarist that play electric sitting down cross their left leg over their right to gain the height needed (if you are tall this is helpful). I am a right handed player and like to keep my les paul while sitting on my left leg with my right supporting the downward weight of the guitar. I found that the footrest adds that extra confort on your back while playing. If I am watching TV. I never watch TV when I am playing or writing a new riff.

hmmm... That is a good idea....Let me think it through. If I do build them and they are a hit; I will share 1/3 of the revenue of the first 5 for your idea. I really want to get into building Archtops. I have this strange craving for Archtops they have great lines. I am not a jazz guy either, but I like some of the the sounds they can produce (i.e. Seltzer). My influences are in this order George Lynch, E. Clapton, Keb Mo and Les Paul. I saw Les Paul a few years ago at his club in Manhattan it was amazing....He plays this early version of a Les Paul that is amazing. I didn;t know but he will sign your les paul if you bring it to his show. I hope to get up that way again. that table idea is a good one.....where can I see a pic?

I do want share my idea as well as sell them. so if anyone wants to try an build I can supply the dimensions to copy it and they can build themselves, just let me know. It took about 4 - 5 trys before I got it right (i.e the right angle and height.) Don;t copy the store bought ones they will just fall over.....

I guess this is the same fix for a guitar as it would be for a mandolin. I have a mandolin which top board cracked at the glue joint. How do I fix this? If you are a serious player and want to place the guitar at the height and gain the right posture then the footrest is the tool. It is kind of like having the right pick. Also lots of folks that have non acoustics (i.e. Flying v's or Heavy guitars like Les Paul) prefer this posture while sitting. It is easier on the back and arm.
