Outlet store. They had a store for surplus and rejects. The "floor product" as you called it is plain solid wood, nothing fancier. Some of the species they had are common in guitar building, like maple, walnut or sapele. Some not as familiar in guitars, yet they behave well. I mean, you don't want a floor or a piece of furniture that warps heavily depending on the weather. Neither do you want a guitar that does that!

My less than amazing HSH Emgs, their poor performance broughte here to begin with looking for a reason why they wouldn't work properly. Of course, it's obvious and should have been all along. Copper shielding. 😉😉

Wonderful. Congratulations. What did you used to reinforce the center lines of the body and the necks? I guess the graphite reinforcements are parallel to the trust rods. Did you put two of them? How did you glued them in? Enjoy.
