ComradeFletch
I managed to get a solid body (mahogany i think), with the neck join and pickup holes already cut from a friend. This came with a neck taken from an old marlin neck. He told me that the slot was too narrow for the neck, so he tried widening it. The problem is that this left a gap on the lower side of the neck, as he did it with sandpaper creating a curve on the side of the pocket. also, there is no wood between the pocket and the neck pickup cavity. Is this a problem, or can i get away with leaving it as it is? and if it is a problem, how can i fix it? (i wud post pictures, but dont really know how to)
