Cool thanks guys - thought as much and think i will be going down the band saw route. Just one other thing you just said was about the template - is perspex a good idea because i'm thinking it will be easier to trace the design i have on paper onto it!!

Hey guys - just a bit of advice please. I am about to start my first project and was wondering if i could use a router fixed in a router table to cut out the body of the guitar instead of a jigsaw or band saw? Seems like it would offer an easier option with it managing the corners etc.......

Hey everyone - just joined up as i have just finished work on my workshop - clearing space ready to work - and feel like i need some advice.

Can anybody provide me with a list of essential tools that i will need, and also name and contact details of getting hold of the woods needed?

The only problem is - i'm in the UK so i need some idea of getting hold of stuff over here or somewhere that would ship to me - that wouldn't cost too much - please reply if you think you have any help at all.
