  1. Bill: Had this been an oil rubbed finish or a grain filled hard-coat you would have likely gotten my vote. Looking at it inside might not show the grain so much but with the pictures you took, it is very noticeable. I love the tree pickups and the non traditional configuration of a Tele. I love pissing off Tele purists too.

I think I tried to go for too many things at once. I wanted coarse SG jr, but also glossy candy wood. I actually like how it turned out (not bad for a first guitar) but I'll probably refinish at some point, oil or filled...

  2. My desire to be original trumped my desire to make something classic here. A new take on the 3P90: Gordita.

Homemade one-piece Padouk body with a Warmoth Canary neck.

All SD with a vintage in neck, custom neck in middle and p90 hot in bridge.

Homebrew Ebony tone bar as string ferrule in back.

6 way rotary chosing Neck, Middle, Bridge p90, Neck + Bridge p90 in series, neck + bridge p90 in parallel, Neck + middle + bridge p90 in series; and a push pull volume pot that adds the rail to any of the combinations above for a little added punch.
