    Am I wright when I say that it would be $325 for a 6 string neck and then another $275 if you want a Jem/UV style pyramids or Vine? So it would be $600 for a neck?

    I have noticed you can get a fret saw from Stew Mac, but can you get a saw like this from any wood working store? Or how else can you cut your frets without getting this saw from Stew Mac? Thanks in advance.

    I bought a truss rod from alied luthier. It is the one you see here I routed out the channel in my neck and am wondering which way it is suposed to go in? Do leave the rode side up? Or do I leave the metal base side up? also do I need to fill this type of rode in and glue it like you would a regular gibson style truss rod? Thanks

    I recently got some sign vinyl from a local sign company. I just asked for some scraps and the guy gave me enough to wallpaper a whole room. I have a deep red,dark blue, dark(forest) green and some grey. I was wondering if anyone would like to do a little trading? just for small pieces, enough for a couple of necks or so? I don't have the colors that I want. I would like white,light blue,light green ,black and any flourescent. Or if you have any to spare, I would gladly send some of my vinyl. Thanks Roland

    The picture of my first guitar body is here it is Paduke/Maple/Paduke. I have 2 questions. 1. What would be a good finish for this body? 2. What do I do about the crack like opening on the bottom of the guitar? It appeared after I cut through the maple. Can I fill this? And how will it look? The picture of the cracks are on the last pic.. #5 thanks

    Cool... thanks for the info I will look them up. I ordered the regular truss rods from Stew Mac the 3/16 steel dowl, are they ok to use? And can you just route a straight channel for the double truss rods, or do you need to create a curved channel like you do for the 3/16 steel?

    I am starting to make my first neck and was kind of wondering what everyone else uses. In the two books I have on guitar building, they both use 3/16 steel rod but I see so many other choices out there, what is the best and easiest to use? Thanks

    The tutorial that Brian Calvert does on the 3D inlays is awsome! But he does not go into what the vinyl decal material is that he is using and where do you get something like that? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am new at this and would like to do something like that. Thanks in advance
