I have used Halfords paint, i think it is very good.

Thats what one i was thinking of using, has anyone else used this?

Also... what paints do i need? The matt black and a laquer?

So im painting my body, and my dad thinks it will be easier and maybe cheaper to paint the guitar using car spray paint..

But is this ok? Will it kill the sustain/tone or anything...destroy the wood?

Ok so i want to dye/stain my guitar black after i sanded it yet.. which i havent got round to doing yet lol..

So anyway..i just wanted to know... what black dye/stainer is the best to use?

On one of the lessons on another site he uses Feast Watson Prooftint, but i thought it looked a bit light...

And the body wood is Alder
