my friend has one in his hot pink kramer and its pretty cool. The pickups got some real power hes in the process of putting them in all his guitars. Im personally a dimarzio fan but the dimebucker is pretty cool.

my guitar teacher had one and i played it it was alright i dont see the big deal about them though I love the old japanese guitars but im still into the sound of a wooden guitar. It wasnt as hard to play as jack white says but its still not easy. His was a sky blue that looked pretty darn cool.

thats wikid cool i wish i had thought to ask him. I didnt talk to him much after because the cd i had him sign got him a litlle upset aparently don put songs on there that were written by lynchs original band exciter and wrote written by dokken. So lynch is a little mad about that cd being out. He was really cool about it though he didnt get mad at me he just gave me the story.

ya the body is scratched and has hairline cracks i figuresd it was the original but didnt get to ask him. He had the sckulls and snakes to but only used it when the tiger went completely out of tune he tuned it for playing with the students though.

it all comes down to what you like i try and keep the action really low on my guitars cuz im in a glam band and i solo fast alot so i need it like that but some people dont like it its all how you like it really

i took the leap into vocals today i kinda like them i wish i could sing like my favorite singers but my range isnt there yet. Check it out on my bands myspace the song is Shining star hope you like it.

ya i got pics but they were from a disposable camera i might be able to get them scanned though he was nice he did complain about don dokken a bit but he was really actually nice to us. Buckethead was the guest the year before and he didnt even really pay attention to the students so it was cool for lynch to be so kind.

thanks ya i ended up having to put it in so far because i was going to have a replica of my faded gibson sg's neck made out of maple then the guy who was gonna do it said he couldnt so i compromised and needed more width. i can get to about the 21st fret easy but the oak doesnt really sustain to well so i use it for a drop tuned rythm guitar right now simple solos sound alright but im in a glam band so not many of my solos are simple lol. My next project is going to be way more planned out and no compromises.

i guess zakk actually uses his pedal in front of his already overdriven amp it all depends on your taste though lately ive been just plug n play because it gets annoying having to many things to push but for awhile i used a digitech hotrod to get a real tight treble sound out of my peaveys.

it was crazy i was shaking at first but when i got up there it went by so fast once i got off stage though i was freaking out i couldnt believe that it had happened It took like 3 days for it to all sink in.

i just got back from national guitar workshop and i actually got to play on stage withe george lynch from dokken. I couldnt believe it he came and did a seminar then asked the audience if anyone wanted to jam. I was second to go up with him and it was amazing. It was the best moment of my whole life i actually got to jam with my hero if anyone else has a chance to go to a ngw i highley recomend it it was amazing.

o ya i definetly know that im a shredder in my band but i play blues country n have learned some pop stuff too.

dont use a stencil its easier by eye i tried with a stencil before and it came out just like that just do it by eye

i used to use the can gun all the time (lost it though ) It really helps with fatigue and also your finger dosent get imprinted by the tip. I really liked it and am going to get a new one. The one you posted a pic of isnt that good though. I have another one that i bought to rplace the can gun thats made by rustoleum but identical to the plasticote one. Ive actually had the can fall right out on a few occasions.

Looks really nice. How do you sand the finish in those carves though it seems like it must be a real pain to get a level finish in there. I love how you flowed the bust all the way up the carve it looks really cool.

if i were you id go a little more on the left side the right is too thick compaerd to the left its definetly a good color choice (i just did a burst almost exactly like it on my sg) good luck.

I know that usa jacksons are amazing my problem was the way the guy sold it to me was as an awseome model and one of the best. I would love t have a usa jackson and think fender has helped with finances and stuff like that but i still would kill for an original custom shop. lol

the shcwinn bicycle paint was off the franken strat if your going for the 5150 mayby try contacting kramer. It should be the same as there red barrettas and such. If you tell them your making a 5150 they probably wont tell you though so say your touching up your barreta or something. Good luck.
