probably not without modification also the scale length is different fender is 25 1/2" and epi is 24 3/4"
-
mayby you should have the bevels of the headstock flow into the body somehow that would probably look cool.

looks pretty cool so far. Its funny i actually just saw this on the bc rich site this morning when i was showing my friend the nj bich im buying. imho i think yours is better i dont like the look of the single coil in theirs. Thats pretty cool that your building that guitar its definetly gonna stand out. Good luck with the rest of your work.

i think there is actually a bluegrass tribute to mettalica by the same people who backed david le roth. I forget what there site is though.

looks pretty cool i love the old jems the new ones dont stand out as much still great guitars but id take an 80's one over a new.

looks really good is it hollowed out at all or solid?

I just purchased my first electric six stringer. I picked up a Jackson JS20 dinky model. The guy I bought it from says he picked it up in 1997. The neck and frets are flawless, needs a new pup switch and jackplate. I am also doing a refinish on it. All in all, not bad for $40. I haven't played the Fender-Jacksons yet. I don't know if I would want to. So many great brands are bought out. Didn't Gibson buy Warwick... Warwick's are nothing compared to what they used to be.
If its a 97 its probably a performer series they were before the js series and there abreviation was ps. My rhoads is a ps-37 and it was made in 97-98

yah the original was a paf but ive played fender humbuckers on the american double hum strat and it was not very good it didnt sound like a strat and it was too thin sounding to sound like a lespaul so i wasnt a huge fan. at least the frankenstrat is a seymour duncan reprouduced paf id it wasnt 20000 lol.

oops sorry ment vednetian florentine is one of there other models

I have i think a pre fender jackson rhoads and its pretty much been a lemon. The floyd broke the day after i bought it and now the output went. Im not dissapointed though because it was used and it just got me into repairing my own guitars. Its kinda funny how all the old 80's companys are coming back but if you look at it it is always gibson or fender making them. The big reason i didnt save up for the charvel evh art series was the fender humbucker imho fender cant really build that good of a humbucker i think really they should stick to single coils.

looks really good. You were definetly right about how well the ash and merabau contrast eachother is that the pine body you were talking about?
-
ya ive bought from them like 4 times already with good results Do you guys think it will fit in a dreadnought case it looks to me like all they did to change it was the second florentine.

-
ferules are the washers you are talking about the contoured plate is a nexk plate shaped like the pocket for fender guitars.
-
looks pretty good what type of oil did you use?
edit: wait nvm didnt see that in the first post
-
got the finish almost done today ended up doing a burst and im pretty happy how it came out! Ill end up clear coating it later this week.
Ps. that laminate on the bench is my new project oak and mahogany strat!

ya the one thing thats good is that even though in most of the bands ive played in we were 80's metal ive still got my sg's for when i need to do something else. I got to learn some stuff from a session/solo musician named terry syrek last year and again next week and he said he ended up having to buy a strat because people wouldnt hire him if he walked in with his rhoads. I would realy like to do some small session work right now but theres no serious studios around me. How would you go about getting a session gig? Im not sure who to contact.

pretty darn cool im a huge fan of fretless guitars i would love to try to make one. So do you think a fretless gibson or fender is in your future or mayby an original?
