Hi im looking for a place to get a neckthru blank, and I am hoping to try and get one like as fast as possible, with minimal options. I know about Doug from SoulMate Guitars and I am planning on getting one from him, but it will take til late August, theres a 2nd project I am wanting one with less options, and made hopefully by Mid July. But I can't find anywhere to get it Carvin only ships UPS, so I do not wish to associate with that Doeringer said he is backed up, would not be able to start til at least 45 days from now Any other repuatible neckthru blank builders? I basically just want a 7 string neckthru blank with a blank maple fretboard

yea, hoping someone could give me an estimate.. gonna try to goto local shops today and see if anyone could do it, but not sure if I trust local luthiers, heard bad stories so far, small city.

thx for fast reply, but what im actually wondering is how much it would cost to get a luthier to replace the fretboard on my guitar, is it like around the $200 range?

I am considering buying a guitar, that needs a major refret anyways, and I would like to add a new fretboard to it (its rosewood with stupid inlays, I would like Maple with none) but I cant seem to find any infomation on replacements, and locally I do not know if there is any luthiers that could do it, I live in a small area. The guitar is also a neckthru, so I could not replace the neck How much do fretboard replacements usually go for? And is there anywhere online that I could maybe send the guitar to, to have them do it? maybe in Canada?
