when i first ooked into makeing guitars, i figured it best to get a used body and work my way up. then i saw peope se||ing uncut bodies, and i thought to myse|f, wow, thats dedication. and know i see some one going to the next |eve|, taking a big chunk of wood and working his way on down. the next step, i can ony imagine, is to buy and axe and start chopping down your own trees.

im not sure if this has been asked or answered, but if i wanted to use an airbrush over a finished guitar, like a factory made guitar, would i have to sand of the top clear layer, then airbrush, then spray it back on?

if you feel adventurous...
i most certianly do not. that never pans out for me. then, when i do mess up, my self esteem goes down and i am mentally unable to work on it agian.

the hardcore jackson-ites are the ones who would be looking for a diffirence. and if you look hard, you can find anything.
i have a post-fender jackson and it plays nice, well as well as a 300 dollar guitar can.

now, will that also get rid of the nasty residue if the sticker has been scrapped off?

i guess that its just the goverments way of kill of all the hippies and lumberjacks.
you'll look like a low budget storm trooper, but its not that expensive (for 3).
also, im not sure it this works, but if you get like a dish towel and cut a mouth hole in that, you could try that around your head and put the respirator on top of it for a tighter fit.

i feel stupid for asking this, but i bought a guitar body off of ebay a little while back to use as my summer project, but i fear that in my haste i made a grave mistake. the guitar has no holes for the strings ( im sure there is some facncy name for them). I believe that the guitar was some cheapo squire or some such thing that some one stripped to sell, so i must assume it had strings at some point. as i was vigorously sanding it and rubbing the gel from hell, that you may know as paint remover, on it, i thought madye id have to use an acoustic style bridge on it. and i havent seen one of those before on a strat (but i havent really looked). what i would really like is a generic strat style bridge (once more, the name eludes me) then id have to drill some holes. what id like to know is what kind of bridge id need to just screw on, what, if any, draw backs it might have, and how i might go about drilling holes in the right spots.
